My Beautiful Romania  12 days / 11 nights

Itinerary tour description

The starting point to your tour will most
likely be in the country's capital, Bucharest.
Often compared to be as a Little Paris, for its
beautiful wide tree lined boulevards, magnificent
architectural buildings and a reputation for the high life.
BUCHAREST

Situated in Northern Moldavia,
this part of Romania is especially
beautiful for its clean unspoiled nature,
and for its unique landscape, but also
for its famous group of orthodox Monasteries,
with their exterior mural paintings which
are to be seen.
BUCOVINA

Maramures is known as a earth
land in northwestern Romania, with
wooden churches and ancient customs.
Here, the time has stopped,
it is often called.
Who ever was there, ask no more.
MARAMURES

Built by the Saxon colonists living in
Transylvania, who had to watch over
the frontiers of the Hungarian kingdom
in the 12th and 13th centuries, the fortress
gathered inside its walls: Saxon, Romanian
and Hungarian craftsmen.
SIGHISOARA

The city was first attested in the
13th century under the name Corona.
The current Romanian and Hungarian names
are derived from the Pecheneg word "barasu",
meaning "fortress".
BRASOV

At 44 km far from Brasov, situated in Sinaia,
The Peles Castle is considered by many one
of the most beautiful castles in all Europe.
It was the final resting place for several
Romanian monarchs including King Carol I.
